(scroll down and up quickly, is the imagine really moving!?!?!)
Thanks to the internet, and in sort of a 1984 fashion, this post is going to magically change without you knowing it. You might be reading this now and think to yourself, “what could possibly change,” but when you come back and look at this post again you will have no way of knowing if there was any trickery involved.
I am throwing a “Magic” Party tonight and decided to whip up a menu in the name of magic. I will admit that most of the food was thought out long before any HINTS of magic came into play, but that could never stop me from having a little fun. For the first time since I was about 8, I had a magician come to my party. I befriended him a few days prior and thought it would be a fun way for people to experience something that they hadn’t seen in years, something that we all love. Magic. If anyone out there wants to throw a party and have a magician walking around doing tricks, let me know, I am happy to hire him again, everyone loved it.
The “Magic” Menu
Some of these dishes are based around the illusion of taste. Thinking you are going to taste one thing and experiencing something completely different. Other dishes are simply magical.
Thai Magic Basil Juice Shooters
Spin-Art Dumplings
Surprising Summer Rolls (non-veggie*)
-with a sweet chili illusion
Magic “Weed” Flatbread
“Tarot” Cake with Greek Goddess Frosting
Cotton Candy Surprise
-this one is seriously going to be a surprise (to me) because I don’t know if it is possible to make without a machine but fuck it I will try….
Pot-Luck Trickery
Whatever food and booze you guys would like to bring…
